Access from Pretoria/Johannesburg: Take the R556 toward Sun City, pass the Sun City entrance on the right, continue 5.11 km to the STOP sign and turn right onto the R565. Drive ~27 km through the village (watch for potholes) to the Black Rhino Game Reserve gate on the right. Sign in at the gate. Normal sedan cars can reach the lodge on the dirt roads; gate pick-up is available on request. From the Black Rhino Game Reserve gate: Drive 2.9 km to the first intersection and turn left. Continue 1.47 km to the next intersection, turn extreme right, then drive 470 keeping right to the lodge. Turn left into the gate at Stand 20. Downloadable directions are available on the page.
