The lodge has 18 bedrooms. It was designed to combine rustic nature of a bushveld retreat with style and elegance expected from a first-rate safari destination. It sits in the heart of Blue Canyon Conservancy, on 36,000 acres of African bushveld. Children aged 8 years and older are welcome.

Game drives are conducted by knowledgeable nature guides. A full-service restaurant serves South African wines and cuisine. Al fresco boma barbeques are prepared by chefs. A swimming pool, gym and wellness treatments on request are available. Relaxation and photographic opportunities are offered.

Ligging & Omgewing

Moditlo Private Game Reserve covers 16,500 hectares at the foot of the Drakensberg mountain range, adjacent to Greater Kruger National Park. It borders the Nbesi River and is home to lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, cheetahs, hippos, wild dogs and hundreds of bird species. Day excursions to Kruger National Park and others can be booked.
