Strand (Afrikaans: [strant], meaning "beach") is a coastal resort town located in the Western Cape, South Africa. It is part of the Eastern Suburbs within the City of Cape Town Metropolitan Municipality. Positioned on the northeastern shore of False Bay, it lies near the base of the Helderberg Mountains, nestled between Somerset West and Gordon’s Bay, approximately 50 km southeast of Cape Town's City Bowl.

Strand has an estimated population of around 50,000 people. Its main attraction is its 5-kilometre stretch of white sandy beach along the False Bay coastline.
