29 cottages are spread over a huge area in wide open settings. Cottages have en-suite bedrooms, huge fireplaces for cold winter evenings, electric fans for hot weather. Kitchens are equipped with cutlery, crockery, fridges, two plate stoves, kettles, microwaves. Bed linen and towels are provided. Each has an outdoor braai area.

Fire wood can be bought at Traveller's Rest Farm Stall. Shared swimming pool is near river. Restaurant brings relief after hot day.
