2 Sisters Retreat is a charming double-storey, self-catering house nestled in the quaint village of Kleinbaai, in the Overberg District. The property provides complimentary Wi-Fi and parking and is conveniently located just 5 km from the heart of Gansbaai, known for its popular whale-watching spots.

The house boasts two levels, featuring 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. On the top floor, the first bedroom is furnished with a double bed and includes an en-suite bathroom with both a bath and a shower. The second bedroom offers a double bed, a single bed, and an en-suite bathroom equipped with a shower and a spa bath. The third bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Meanwhile, the fourth bedroom comes with 3 single beds and a separate bathroom with a shower.

The open-plan kitchen and living area are also situated on the top floor. The kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, stove, oven, and a scullery complete with a washing machine. The lounge features a comfortable couch and an indoor braai, leading out to a wooden deck with distant views of the ocean. For entertainment, the house is equipped with a TV offering the full DStv package.

Outside, guests can enjoy another braai area, and there is ample parking available. For your peace of mind, the house is secured with an indoor and outdoor beam alarm system.

2 Sisters Retreat is ideally situated just 850 metres from the White Shark Diving Company and approximately 800 metres from the beach.

Location & Surroundings

Kleinbaai lies at the Danger Point Peninsula proper and is possibly the main reason for Gansbaais popular nature-based tourism. It is from the natural harbour of Kleinbaai that shark-diving boats leave with cages that allow visitors to get up close and personal with Great Whites (Carcharodon Carcharias) that frequent these waters in such vast numbers.

The area of water between the mainland and Dyer Island is commonly referred to as shark alley attributable to the 50,000 seals that colonise this island and understandably attract sharks, although it is not sharks alone that make a visit to Kleinbaai enticing.

Kleinbaai has a wonderful tidal pool perfect for children, and a golf course with a sea view, which means that many families prefer the little village. There is a gravel road connecting Kleinbaai along the rugged coast with several other little rock pools ending at the lighthouse at Danger Point. This track makes a wonderful hike and, because it is unsuitable even for rugged 4X4s, is generally peaceful.
