Four sea-facing guest rooms named Mudge Point, Otterbaai, Langbaai and Sopiesklip, each with a balcony and sea views. En-suite bathrooms have double basins and walk-in showers. Rooms include air conditioning, coffee stations, bar fridges, spa gowns and slippers. All rooms are wheelchair accessible via a built-in elevator.

Facilities

Breakfast is available for guests and non-residents on the deck or in the dining area. An in-house restaurant serves dinner. A Whale Viewing Deck supports whale watching, sunsets and marine photography. An events venue holds up to 30 for parties, bridal showers and team breakaways.

Location & Surroundings

Under 2 hours from Cape Town and close to Hermanus, in the Overberg, Western Cape. De Kelders is noted for land-based whale watching. Great White shark cage diving is about 10 minutes away; Cape Agulhas is under an hour. Wine farms are within an easy drive; Gansbaai’s bars and restaurants are close by.
