Adonsonia Lodge is a wildlife accommodation in Grietjie Nature Reserve within Greater Kruger, offering Big Five viewing and over 280 recorded bird species.

Accommodation

Small guesthouse with 3 guest rooms for maximum 6 guests. Features include Koedoe King suite with river-rock walls, Waterbok Queen room with African-inspired decor, and Rooibok with two three-quarter beds. Each room has private bathroom, separate entrance, air conditioning, fan, mosquito nets, and gas geyser for hot water. Recently renovated.

Facilities

Breakfast included with all stays. Dining options include 3-course set menu, braai meats, picnic lunches, and light lunch. Large shady thatched porch, splash pool, thatched lapa and patio for dining, large firepit, open game viewers for wildlife viewing, WiFi, honesty bar, and carport.

Location & Surroundings

Located 30 km south of Phalaborwa in Limpopo, within Grietjie Nature Reserve and Greater Kruger National Park. The UNESCO Kruger to Canyons Biosphere Reserve setting offers over 280 bird species and Big Five wildlife. Base for day trips to Drakensberg, Olifants River, and Blyde River Canyon.
