Bushwa Private Game Lodge is malaria-free accommodation on 1,000 ha of Bushveld in the Waterberg Biosphere, Limpopo, about 2.5–3 hours from Johannesburg / O.R. Tambo.

Accommodation

Main Lodge has five luxury chalets with en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, private decks and queen beds. Tree House is rustic, 3 km away, overlooking a waterhole. Rhino Bush Camp is self-catering about 5 km away, for up to 14 adults and six children, with seven en-suite bathrooms.

Facilities

Facilities include game drives, sparkling pools, Tsamma bush spa, fine dining with South African wines, bar, lounge and pool deck. Wi-Fi is at the main lodge. Rhino Bush Camp has an equipped kitchen, dining area, bar with boma and splash pool. Bird watching is available.

Location & Surroundings

The lodge sits in the Waterberg Biosphere, Limpopo, on a privately owned fenced reserve near Nylsvley. Closest town is Vaalwater. O.R. Tambo is about 2.5–3 hours away. Wildlife includes buffalo, sable, eland, kudu, giraffe, zebra and varied birdlife on 1,000 ha of Bushveld.
