The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery, and crockery as well as a dishwasher and a washing machine. There is also a breakfast bar with stools. The dining area has seating space for 7 people, while the lounge has a comfy lounge suite and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with full DStv channels. Free Wi-Fi access is also provided.
The living area opens up onto a lovely verandah which has outdoor patio furniture, a picnic table, and braai facilities. The patio overlooks the enclosed garden and the pond. There is also a swimming pool where guests can cool off in the summer months. Fishing rods, books, a baby monitor, toys, canoes and a golf cart are also available.

Parys is known for the Vredefort Dome, a large asteroid impact site. The dome is South Africa's 7th World Heritage Site. Parys is the only place along the Vaal River that you will find rapids, this makes it great for water sports enthusiasts, with white water rafting and kayaking as the firm favourites.
