Dana Bay Beach House is a brand new self-catering house ideally located in Dana Bay overlooking the Indian Ocean. The house is ideal for a family or a group of friends who want to spend a relaxing few days at the beach.

The house can accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, a toilet and a washbasin. The second bedroom contains a double bed. The third bedroom contains two bunk beds, sleeping 4 people. These 2 bedrooms share a second bathroom with a shower, a toilet and a washbasin.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a fridge-freezer, hob and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a breakfast bar with stools. The dining area contains an 8-seater dining table and chairs. The spacious lounge offers comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV. Free Wi-FI internet access is available.

The living area opens to an enclosed patio with seating and a built-in braai facility that offers beautiful sea views. Free secure parking is available.

There is much more to Dana Bay than meets the eye, and it is one of the few destinations in South Africa where the animals have the right of way, and people live their lives in accordance with nature. The community strives to conserve and protect the wildlife and vegetation of Dana Bay.

Dana Bay began its existence as farmland for grazing livestock in 1821. In 1972 the land was bought to create a retirement village that only provided two thousand plots for its future residents. All the planning was done with conservation in mind; street names were given botanical names and created so as to minimize erosion.

Dana Bay is now a conservancy, and its residents take pride in the conservation of the animals and endemic plants.

Mossel Bay offers many local restaurants, museums, historical landmarks and many more.
