Die Skuur Campsite & Chalets offers family-run accommodation on a working farm in the countryside near Mariental, Namibia.

Accommodation

Die Skuur offers two farm chalets named Kameeldoring Chalet and Prosopis Chalet, each with an en-suite bathroom and patio with braai facilities overlooking agricultural land and the Fish River. Private campsites include stone-build and pole-build options with lockable ablutions and outdoor kitchenettes. Shared campsites have communal ablutions.

Facilities

Facilities include an on-site Farm Shop with homemade rusks, jams, pre-cooked meals, meats, biltong and droëwors plus braai supplies, a Curio Shop, braai areas, outdoor kitchenettes at private campsites, wood-fired hot water showers, in-house catering for braai suppers with vegetarian sides, and farm tours by the hosts.

Location & Surroundings

Die Skuur is on a working farm 5 km from Mariental in Namibia. Positioned roughly halfway between Sossusvlei and the Fish River Canyon, it functions as a convenient stopover for travelers en route to Sesriem, Sossusvlei, or the Fish River Canyon. Windhoek International Airport is a 3.5-hour drive away.
