Accommodation
Three self-catering cottages, Nightjar, Sunbird and Hoopoe, feature Cape-style white-washed walls and quarry tiles throughout. Each has large wooden double doors opening onto a veranda with views. Nightjar and Sunbird sleep four people, while Hoopoe has one bedroom. All have wood-burning fireplaces, private braai areas and indigenous gardens.
Facilities
Each cottage is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge, stove and microwave. Crisp white cotton sheets and feather duvets are provided. All bathrooms have showers, and Sunbird also has a bath. WiFi is available throughout. Host Martin is on hand to show guests around the farm and vineyards.
Location & Surroundings
The farm lies in the Breede River Valley, one hour and a half from Cape Town. The two on-farm nature reserves have hiking trails to Bloukop and Queen Victoria Peak, a waterfall, and a rock pool. Kirabo Kompanjie, a boutique winery and bistro, is one kilometre from the farm.
