Elephant Rock Lodge is a luxury Big 5 safari accommodation in the malaria-free Nambiti Private Game Reserve, KZN, approximately 3 hours from Durban, accommodating maximum 10 guests.

Accommodation

Five well-appointed luxury chalets accommodate up to 10 guests. Two inter-leading chalets function as family units. All feature en-suite bathrooms, private decks, and outdoor showers, with views of active waterholes or indigenous bushveld. Beds available as king or twin singles. Each chalet includes tea/coffee station and complimentary WiFi.

Facilities

Facilities include swimming pool, bar, boma with traditional fire setting, viewing hide, and viewing deck overlooking waterhole. All meals included from lunch on arrival through breakfast on departure with South African and international cuisine and dietary accommodation. Guided game drives and birdwatching daily. Bush breakfasts and private dinners available.

Location & Surroundings

Located 25 km east of Ladysmith in malaria-free KwaZulu-Natal. Approximately 3 hours from Durban, 4 hours from Johannesburg, 40 minutes from the Drakensberg. Big 5 reserve with elephants, lions, buffalo, cheetahs, antelope, zebras, hippos, and birdlife. Close to Elandslaagte, Rorke's Drift, and Isandlwana battlefields. Sundays River has two 40-metre waterfalls.
