From Opuwo: 180 km, 3 hours via DR 3700 gravel road. From Ruacana: 250 km, 5 hours via DR 3701 through Epembe then DR 3700 via Okongwati. Alternative scenic route follows the Kunene River for ~140 km, 3 hours but is impassable during floods, typically October to May. 4x4 vehicle recommended for all routes. By air: fly to Epupa airstrip (gravel, 950 m, elevation 2,500 ft, coordinates S17°01’45.6″ E013°12’36.6″), 8 km from camp. Guests are met by guides and transferred in safari-style vehicles through the mountainous terrain.
