Glen Harry Game Reserve is a 25,000-acre private game reserve in the Eastern Cape's Karoo, offering African wilderness accommodation with game viewing and farm-to-table dining.

Accommodation

Five chalets feature double or single beds, private terraces, and separate shower facilities. Klippy offers a super king bed and modern kitchen with panoramic views. Pepper Tree Cottage sleeps four with garden and outdoor fireplace. All units include air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, daily housekeeping, and small kitchenettes.

Facilities

Salt water pool is the signature amenity. Communal dining areas, boma with braai, and nightly campfire pit. Game drives at morning, evening, and night times; guided bush walks; mountain biking; shooting range; running trails; stargazing; bird watching of 177 species. Vegetable garden supplies farm-to-table meals.

Location & Surroundings

Eastern Cape's Karoo region features diverse wildlife including eland, kudu, and Cape buffalo. Ancient San and Koi rock art (10,000+ years old) and 190-million-year-old fossils appear along the Sundays River. The 25,000-acre ecosystem offers mountain and grassland views, accessed via 23km rustic dirt road.
