Hammer Safaris Private Game Reserve offers accommodation in a 6000-hectare private game reserve in South Africa's Klein Karoo near Barrydale on Route 62 in the Western Cape.

Accommodation

Four private units are available. Eland is a 120m² two-bedroom house with queen beds, living and dining areas, kitchen and two bathrooms. Gemsbok has a private courtyard with barbecue facilities. Kudu and Zebra are 35m² units with double rooms, queen beds and coffee stations. All have air conditioning and free WiFi.

Facilities

Communal facilities include a swimming pool and boma area, a Lapa with indoor braai, pizza oven, bar, pitfire and draught beer on request for half-board guests, a trophy and snooker room, sundowner areas at the dam, airport transfers, housekeeping, laundry and pre-arranged wellness massages.

Location & Surroundings

The 6000-hectare reserve is in the Klein Karoo near Barrydale on Route 62 in South Africa's Western Cape between the Langeberg and Swartberg mountains. The semi-arid plains support free-roaming wildlife, over 3200 plant species including 400 endemic, 80 bird species and dark skies with low light pollution.
