Hawklee Country House offers freestanding thatched cottage accommodation beside the Lions River in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, about 13 km from Nottingham Road.

Six freestanding thatched cottages: five river-facing B&B studio cottages with private spa baths, and one self-catering garden cottage with open-plan kitchenette. All rooms en-suite. Every cottage has electric blankets, heated towel rails, electric heaters, bar fridge, DSTV, and tea and coffee.

Facilities

Country Kitchen serves breakfast and dinner from local produce. Irish Home Pub for overnight guests. Facilities include dining area, patio, deck, braai, and pub. Picnic baskets available. On-site activities include river walks, bird watching, fly fishing, and mobile spa treatments.

Beside the Lions River in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, about 13 km from Nottingham Road and about 2 hours’ drive from Durban. Access to the Midlands Meander for crafts, galleries, wine cellars, restaurants, and adventure. Nottingham Road has shops, pubs, and restaurants.
