About

Hedge House is luxury bed and breakfast accommodation in a quiet pocket of Newlands (Sunnybrae), Cape Town, established in 2001 and owner-hosted by Judy and Graham.

Accommodation

Six en-suite bedrooms, each with a separate entrance, luxury finishes and free Wi-Fi. Rooms are self-contained with microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. Options sleep two to five; some have terraces with Table Mountain views. One suite is wheelchair-friendly.

Facilities

Homemade breakfast is included, with patio dining when weather allows; dinners by prior arrangement. Saltwater pool, garden, outdoor patio, lounge with wood-burning fireplace, secure off-street parking and backup power. Small conferences for up to 10. Airport transfers and laundry assistance on request.

Location & Surroundings

Walking distance to Good Hope Studies, Claremont/Cavendish Square, Newlands Cricket Stadium, Kelvin Grove, Sports Science Institute, Varsity College and Keurboom Park. Easy reach of the V&A Waterfront, beaches and Cape Town International Airport. Schools nearby include Rondebosch Boys’, Bishops and Rustenburg Girls’ High.

Room 4 is our spacious, mountain view room. It has a large deck which is partially shaded by a Camphor tree. It is very suitable for families as there is an option to have an extra bedroom.
