The guest house features three inviting rooms, including a triple room with a queen-size bed and a single bed. One room includes a queen-size bed, while the family room offers a queen-size bed and two single beds in a separate room. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin.

Guests can enjoy air-conditioning, complimentary coffee and tea facilities, and braai facilities available on request. Meals from the restaurant can be delivered to your room for added convenience. The property is fully off-grid, ensuring a sustainable and serene experience.

The on-site Herb Garden Restaurant serves breakfast from 11h00 on weekdays and from 10h00 on weekends, though it is closed on Sundays. Guests can also enjoy lunch and dinner in a welcoming atmosphere, with a cosy fireplace adding to the charm in one of the dining areas.

Location & Surroundings

The picturesque town of Springbok in the Northern Cape nestles in a deep plain between the rugged granite Kopper Mountain and is the commercial and cultural hub of Namaqualand.There are several fabulous restaurants in Springbok.

The Goegap Nature Reserve is about 15 km southeast of Springbok and consists of typical Namaqualand vegetation and incorporates the Hester Malan Wild Flower Garden. The reserve is transformed into a mosaic of multicoloured wildflowers for a few weeks each year after the rains. The semi-desert reserve is noted for indigenous flora and fauna, particularly succulents, some species of which are found nowhere else in the world.

The numerous mammal species found here include springbok, gemsbok, mountain zebra, and a variety of small mammals, while 94 bird species have been recorded.

The Hester Malan Wild Flower Garden comprises an exhibition of Namaqualand succulents and a rock garden. There are horse trails, three hiking trails, two mountain bike trails and a variety of 4x4 routes through the reserve. Facilities include an information centre and picnic sites but no overnight accommodation is provided.
