Four canvas safari tents on wooden decks with panoramic views, each featuring king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms with outdoor showers, and private sitting areas. Family tent available with main bedroom and inter-leading twin room. Heated sheets, mini bar, and tea and coffee facility included.

Main lodge with stone, thatch, and canvas construction offers indoor and outdoor dining areas, stone-crafted swimming pool, and relaxation spaces overlooking the reserve. Twice-daily game drives, guided bush walks, and birding safaris are included. Wi-Fi available.

Location & Surroundings

Amakhala Game Reserve spans 22,000 acres in malaria-free Eastern Cape, 50 minutes northeast of Port Elizabeth airport. The reserve is home to the Big Five, over 60 mammal species including endangered cheetahs and white rhinos, Bushman's River, and over 250 bird species.
