Community-owned Hobatere Lodge offers accommodation in the ≠Khoadi-//Hôas Conservancy on the western border of Etosha National Park, nicknamed "Little Etosha" for its rich wildlife.

Accommodation

Six twin-bed rondavels and six double rooms feature private ensuite bathrooms, comfortable beds, writing desks, coffee and tea stations, and private verandas. The Treehouse is an elevated stay in an indigenous Ana tree with a double bed, private bathroom, basic amenities, lanterns and torches supplied, overlooking a waterhole.

Facilities

Facilities include a spacious thatched restaurant and dining area, well-stocked bar, lounge, curio shop, verandas with seating and firepit, raised viewing decks, observation deck and swimming pool with loungers. Wi-Fi is available in the main building. Solar power supplies the lodge and a functional airstrip supports fly-in access.

Location & Surroundings

Hobatere Lodge is in the ≠Khoadi-//Hôas Conservancy on the western border of Etosha National Park. It is 65 km north of Kamanjab in remote north-western Namibia. The lodge is 16 km from the entrance along a gravel road through the concession. The area is nicknamed "Little Etosha" for its rich wildlife.
