About 2.5 hours from Durban and 4 hours from Johannesburg (about 245 km from Durban King Shaka Airport; 400 km from Johannesburg OR Tambo). Monks Cowl base camp is 7 km away. Baz Bus pickups no longer offered; no shuttles. Hitching about 7 km to trail heads is described as straightforward.
