Isinkwe Bush Camp is rustic budget self-catering bush camp accommodation set within 22 hectares of indigenous sand forest, 20 km south of Hluhluwe and 50 km from St Lucia town.

Accommodation consists of basic, clean and cosy rooms in rustic setting. Options include Bushbaby Self Catering Tree Cabin with two bedrooms, double beds and bunkbed plus kitchen and lounge, Cicada ensuite double and single bed, Genet shared double and twin rooms, Longhorn Beetle twin room, and Tortoise camping.

Facilities

Facilities include a communal self-catering kitchen with gas stoves, ovens, fridges and freezer, a swimming pool with raised wooden sundeck, loungers and pool table, and a communal Buffalo Boma with BBQ stand and fireplace. A licensed bar opens daily from 16:00. Laundry service is available. Meals and drinks are offered.

Location & Surroundings

Isinkwe Bush Camp is 20 km south of Hluhluwe and 50 km from St Lucia town, a 25-minute drive from the Memorial Gate northern entrance to Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Game Park. It serves as a base for exploring Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Game Park and the Greater Isimangaliso St Lucia Wetlands Park World Heritage Site.
