Thatch Lodge is a double-storey bushveld lodge sleeping up to 14 guests in four private downstairs bedrooms with 2 king, 1 queen, 2 singles plus loft sleeping 4-6 and three bathrooms. Three safari tents each sleep 2 adults with queen bed or two singles and en-suite shower and toilet.

Facilities

Rondavel lounge with fireplace and DSTV, open-plan kitchen and dining with gas and electric stove, deck overlooking the dam, splash pool, games area with darts, table tennis and pool table, inverters for power outages and limited cellphone reception. Safari tents have self-contained kitchenettes on the stoep and private braai areas.

The malaria-free Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve 21,000 hectares offers Big 5 game viewing self-drive or arranged drives, prolific birding, sunsets and tranquil surroundings with the sounds of the wild. Wonderful restaurants are available in the surrounding area. The property is approximately one hour from Tambo Airport.
