Joubertsdal Country Estate
About
Joubertsdal is a 400-hectare farm and natural fynbos estate established in 1792 at the foot of the Langeberg mountains in the Overberg offering self-catering accommodation in two Cape Dutch guesthouses.
Accommodation
Two self-catering Cape Dutch guesthouses are available. Neanderhöle country house sleeps up to 10 guests in 4 ensuite bedrooms including a family room with bunk beds. Little Bess sleeps up to 10 guests in 5 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms. Mountain View Cottage 1 accommodates up to 2 guests.
Facilities
Guesthouses have a swimming pool, braai facilities, patios and fireplaces. Kitchens are fully equipped. Lounges have plasma TV with DSTV. Mountain View Cottage 1 includes a Kol Kol hot tub and kitchenette with induction plate, microwave and fridge. Daily cleaning is available on request at an additional charge.
Location & Surroundings
The 400-hectare farm and natural fynbos estate is at the foot of the Langeberg mountains in the Overberg, Western Cape near Swellendam, South Africa’s third-oldest town with over 50 heritage sites. It is a 2-hour drive from Cape Town and George near the Tradouw Pass gateway to the Little Karoo.
