Knysna Self-Catering Holiday Home is nestled in the charming Leisure Isle, offering an ideal base to explore the surrounding attractions and facilities of this beautiful part of the Garden Route. This welcoming 8-sleeper home comprises four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The house is equipped with a TV featuring DStv, complimentary Wi-Fi access, and secure parking for your peace of mind. Upstairs, you'll find three cosy bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. Downstairs, there is another bedroom with sliding doors that open onto a small, well-maintained garden?small pets are welcome upon consideration. This room also boasts a full en-suite bathroom. The inviting entertainment area includes a guest loo, an open-plan lounge and dining room with a warm gas fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a scullery. Sliding doors from the lounge lead to an undercover patio with a gas braai, perfect for enjoying leisurely evenings.

Location & Surroundings

Knysna is built on the northern shore of a large warm-water estuary, known as the Knysna Lagoon. The lagoon is unique in that it features the only estuarine seahorses of its kind in the world and visitors are encouraged to scuba dive to see them. The Knysna Lagoon is one of the few places along the coast (and in the world) that supports an oyster hatchery, of which the oysters are reputed as being the tastiest in the world.

Other places of interest in Knysna include the Knysna Yacht Club, Millwood House Museum, Knysna Elephant Park, and Millwood Gold Mines. The Knysna Forest is the largest indigenous forest in South Africa where animals such as small antelope, forest elephants, and a large variety of birds (such as the famous Knysna Loerie) can be spotted.
