Koensrust Sea Farm is self-catering accommodation on the South Cape coast, about 3.5 hours from Cape Town, with four options on 1,000 ha of fynbos.

Accommodation

Four self-catering units: Beach Shack (old fisherman’s cottage, sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms), The Yard Cottage (sleeps 8 in 3 bedrooms), The Kapstyl (thatch-roofed, sleeps 6), and Tented River Camp (3 canvas cabins, sleeps 8).

Facilities

All units include bedding and linen, fully equipped kitchen, fridge/freezer, gas stove and oven, electric lights, hot water, braai grids and tongs, gas heaters in winter, and braai wood. Dogs welcome.

Location & Surroundings

On the South Cape coast about 3.5 hours from Cape Town, near Vermaaklikheid. Set on 1,000 ha of fynbos between 2 km of remote beach and 1 km of Duiwenhoks River frontage, inland toward Puntjie past Blombos turnoff.
