Directions to Kosi Forest Lodge

4x4 vehicle required to reach the lodge. Twice-daily 4x4 transfers from Manguzi (meet at Total gas station) at 12:00 and 16:00 when pre-booked in advance (25-minute transfer); late/early transfers at higher rate. Secure parking at Manguzi pickup point. Guests driving own 4x4 may proceed to lodge but must arrive no later than 16:00. No fuel at lodge; fill up in Hluhluwe, Jozini or Manguzi. Travel times: Johannesburg approximately 8 hours, Durban 5 hours, King Shaka International Airport 6 hours, Richards Bay 4 hours, St Lucia 3 hours, Kruger National Park 10 hours. Drive slowly due to speed bumps, wandering cattle and missing signs; avoid travel after dark.
