Self-catering cabin on the Kouga River bank. No electricity (lamps provided), no cellphone reception. Equipped kitchen with gas fridge and cold storage. Separate bathroom with hot shower. Bedding, towels, rafts, and paddles included. Firewood available at additional cost. Bottled water must be brought. No single-night stays.

Open-plan family cottage on a working farm, 17km from Kareedouw and 170km from Port Elizabeth, overlooking the Kouga plains near the Zuurveld Mountain Range. En-suite bathroom, kitchenette with gas stove, fridge, and electricity. Private from the homestead with access to garden and jungle gym.

Dam Campsite

Veld campsite near a dam, 1km from gravel road. Six levelled 8x6m sites plus open veld options for 4x4 campers and trailers. Ablution block with running water, gas geyser hot water, and kitchen area. Firewood available from farmhouse.

Kouga Kliphuis (cabin)

On the Kouga River; non-serviced, no electricity (lamps provided), no cellphone reception. Equipped kitchen with gas fridge; separate bathroom with hot shower. Bedding, towels, rafts and paddles included; firewood sold separately (R20/bag); bottled water recommended. Rates: R275 p/p/n (min R600/night, season-dependent); school holidays R300 p/p/n (min R1,000/night). Midweek: pay 2 nights, 3rd free; no 1-night stays. Children 3–12: R100/night; extra tent guests: R100/night. Optional 4x4 transfer return R200. 50% deposit within 48 hours of booking.

Zuuranys Skeerhuis (family cottage)

On Zuuranys farm, 17 km from Kareedouw, 170 km from Port Elizabeth; overlooking Kouga plains by the Zuurveld Mountain Range. Open-plan; double bedroom with en-suite; kitchenette with fridge, gas stove, electricity and utensils. Private from the farm homestead; private garden with jungle gym. Rates: R200 p/p/n or R500 for a family of 4/night.

Dam campsite

Secluded veld campsite about 1 km off the gravel road near a large dam; total privacy. 6 levelled 8×6 m sites plus open veld sites. Ablution block with running water, gas geyser (hot showers and kitchen area); firewood sold at the farmhouse. Rates: adults R140 p/p/n; children 3–12 R70; under 3 free. Optional Zuuranys 4x4 trail (~2.5 hrs) on request.
