About

Laird's Lodge Country Estate is Cape Dutch-style homestead accommodation on a 24-acre estate between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay on South Africa's Garden Route, with ensuite rooms and two pools.

Accommodation

En-suite rooms come in Standard, Deluxe, and Luxury. All open onto private terraces and have air-conditioning, flat-screen TV with DSTV, high ceilings, and percale linen. Deluxe has king or twin beds; Luxury is the largest with heated towel rail and minibar fridge.

Facilities

Two pools: an 8 m×4 m swimming pool and a 9 m×3 m forest pool. Facilities include a reed-ceiling dining room, Monkey Bar, breakfast courtyard, covered terraces, brandy lounge, library, four fireplaces, and an 8-seater wine cellar. Complimentary Wi-Fi and a diesel generator.

Location & Surroundings

About 8 km from Plettenberg Bay and 22 km from Knysna on the Garden Route, with N2 signage. Near Plett: Monkey Land, Birds of Eden, Robberg Nature Reserve, Blue Flag beaches. Knysna has Waterfront, Thesen Island and The Heads. George Airport is about 1 hour by road.
