Linwood Guest Farm is historic sandstone farm accommodation 6 km from Clarens, Free State, in the foothills of the Maluti mountains, a working farm for up to 20 guests.

Accommodation

Self-catering units include Roos Huis, a five-bedroom farmhouse sleeping 10 with en-suite rooms, plus private suites: Cato, Afri-Chic, Chapel and Sandstone (sleep 2, king beds, kitchenettes) and The Loft (sleeps 4). Bubble Valley has bubble tent suites.

Facilities

On site are The Trout and Mallard Restaurant and Bar, Bubble Valley Gallery, and a working farm menagerie. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, starters, thin-crust pizzas, supper and pudding, Thursday to Sunday 9am–8pm.

Location & Surroundings

In the foothills of the Maluti mountains, 6 km from Clarens, Free State. Bushman cave paintings, stone-age tool finds and a dinosaur skeleton site near Mushroom Rock lie on and around the farm. Nearby: trout fishing, Ash River rafting, Afriski Mountain Resort skiing in Lesotho, hot air ballooning and 4x4 trails.
