Directions to Magnifica Farm
Directions
From Cape Town International Airport:
1. Exit the airport and take the N2 highway towards Cape Town.
2. Merge onto the N7 highway heading north towards Malmesbury.
3. Continue on the N7 for approximately 160 kilometers until you reach Citrusdal.
4. In Citrusdal, turn right onto Voortrekker Road /R303.
5. Follow the R303 southwards towards Middelberg Pass.
6. Proceed through Middelberg Pass. Magnifica Farm is located along this route in Buffelspad.
7. With a normal car, you can reach the manager's house near the farm entrance. If your vehicle has some clearance, you can continue to the main house at the top of the hill, where we will guide you to your cottage.
8. Vehicles with reasonable clearance can drive directly to the cottages. For those without sufficient clearance, you may leave your car at the managers house or the main house, and well gladly transport you to your cottage in a bakkie.
From Cerus:
1. Start in Ceres and head north on the R303.
2. Continue on the R303 for approximately 89 kilometers.
This route will take you through the Koue Bokkeveld region and over the Gydo Pass.
3. Proceed through the Middelberg Pass, which includes sections of gravel road. Exercise caution, especially on the unpaved segments.
4. After descending the pass, look for signage indicating Buffelspad or Magnifica Farm.
5. Please note that the Middelberg Pass includes about 30 kilometers of gravel road, which is generally suitable for standard vehicles, but requires careful driving.
From Citrusdal:
1. Start in Citrusdal and head east on the R303.
2. Continue on the R303 for approximately 20 to 30 kilometers.
3. Ascend the Middelberg Pass, which includes sections of gravel road.
4. After descending the pass, look for signage indicating Buffelspad or Magnifica Farm.
5. Please note that the initial stretch from Citrusdal includes unpaved sections. While suitable for all vehicles, caution is advised, especially on gravel segments.
