Makanyane Safari Lodge features eight private thatched air-conditioned suites with wrap-around glass-walled bedrooms offering Marico River views, private sundecks, open-fronted lounges, fireplaces, overhead fans, roll-top baths and indoor and outdoor showers. The main lodge overlooks a watering hole and stream frequently visited by elephants.

Makanyane Safari Lodge occupies 1,800 hectares of private land overlooking the Marico River in the north-eastern corner of Madikwe Game Reserve, with full traversing rights over the 75,000-hectare reserve. It is approximately 45 minutes by air from Johannesburg and O.R. Tambo International Airport and roughly 60 km from Gaborone, Botswana.
