By car: N2 to Mthatha, Coffee Bay road 70 km, left onto Umdumbi gravel road, follow signs 23 km. Avoid GPS from Durban. On foot: scenic hike from Coffee Bay; free breakfast for hikers. By plane: affordable flights JNB to Mthatha UTT; 1.5-hour drive, car rental or shuttle available. Shuttle from Coffee Bay: R150/person (1), R110/person (2), R100/person (3+). Guests should expect gravel roads.
