Mkhaya Game Reserve Stone Camp is a conservation-focused accommodation in southeastern Eswatini's lowveld with 12 semi-open units and rates that include meals and game activities.

Accommodation

Stone Camp features 12 semi-open units hidden in riverine forest along a dry riverbed. The units sleep 2 to 6 people in doubles, twins, triples, 5- and 6-sleeper configurations with no doors or windows. Candles and paraffin lanterns provide lighting while gas geysers supply hot water.

Facilities

Campfire dining areas serve 3-course bush dinners and buffet breakfasts with lunch under the giant Sausage Tree or thatch shelter. Facilities comprise a bar offering gas-cooled drinks and a curio shop, an Executive Lounge for conferences, and Kirky's Hide observation platform that overlooks the waterhole.

Location & Surroundings

Stone Camp lies within Mkhaya Game Reserve in southeastern Eswatini's lowveld at 200 to 355m altitude. The habitat includes acacia savanna on dolerite and sandstone plus semi-deciduous riverine forests with endemic Aloe species. Guests meet guides at the Phuzamoya pickup point at 10h00 or 16h00.
