Forest Camp Chalets

10 chalets in an intimate luxury lodge on 420-hectare private reserve near Hoedspruit beneath the Drakensberg mountains with forest views. Fully equipped. Meal plans include Full Board (all meals plus guided bushwalk, game drive and rehabilitation centre visit), Dinner Bed & Breakfast, Bed & Breakfast or 2-night packages. Deliberately minimalist with no swimming pool, television, radios, phones or shopping facilities. Shares grounds with the rehabilitation centre. Wildlife includes vervet monkeys, baboons, rare Samango monkeys, bush pigs, owls and birds.

11 camping stands with water, electricity and braai at Ya Mati on the banks of the Blyde River. Suitable for caravans and tents with communal ablution facilities. Caravan R720/night, tent R535/night base for 4 people plus R30 per additional person. Monthly caravan rate R4500. Children under 3 free.

Student Chalets

Chalets for the Junior Wildlife Conservation Programme accommodating up to 8 students per unit with toilets, washbasins and showers. Students must bring sleeping bags for the sleep-out experience. Bedding, towels and all meals included in programme fee. 24/7 supervision by trained conservationists and staff.

Teacher Chalets

Private 2-bed units with en-suite bathroom, veranda and small fridge for teachers on the Junior Wildlife Conservation Programme. Teachers must bring sleeping bags for the sleep-out experience. Bedding, towels and all meals included in programme fee.
