Montusi Mountain Lodge offers accommodation in 16 free-standing suites on a 1,000-hectare conservation estate in the Northern Drakensberg, KwaZulu-Natal, overlooking the Amphitheatre.

Accommodation

Sixteen free-standing suites include Garden Suites, Family Suites and Mountain Suites in indigenous gardens, with private entrances, private patio or veranda, and mountain views. Garden and Mountain Suites sleep 2; Family Suites sleep 4 to 5 in two bedrooms.

Facilities

The main building has reception, dining room, Phumleni terrace, bar, lounge and spa treatment room. Facilities include a day spa, swimming, tennis, free Wi-Fi and a lodge restaurant. Dinner and breakfast are included. Activities include guided hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, fishing, birding and scenic 4x4 drives.

Location & Surroundings

In the Northern Drakensberg, KwaZulu-Natal, overlooking the Amphitheatre in the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg Park, a World Heritage Site. Between Johannesburg and Durban on a 1,000-hectare conservation estate, part of the Northern Drakensberg Nature Reserve linking Sterkfontein Nature Reserve and Royal Natal National Park.
