Escape to Mount Sheba Cottages, peacefully located in Pilgrims Rest in Mpumalanga on the Panorama Route. Our self-catering accommodations are thoughtfully equipped with every amenity to ensure a restful experience, truly making it your home away from home.

Choose from our comfortable one-bedroom or two-bedroom cottages. Our one-bedroom units provide a restful night's sleep on a king-size bed. For larger groups, the two-bedroom cottages include one room with a king-size bed and another with four single beds. Each cottage also has a full bathroom, complete with a shower, bath, toilet, and wash basin.

Enjoy the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen in every cottage, complete with a stove, oven, fridge, microwave, and coffee and tea-making facilities. Unwind in the dining area or the cosy living room, which offers a TV and a warm fireplace. Wi-Fi is available throughout, and each cottage includes a patio perfect for outdoor dining.

Location & Surroundings

Pilgrim's Rest is situated on the magnificent Panorama Route on the eastern Escarpment region of the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. The entire town of Pilgrim's Rest has been declared a national monument. Here, visitors can relive the days of the old Transvaal gold rush.

This spectacular area is richly imbued with a diversity of natural, cultural and historic gems. The uniqueness of this historic village is vividly evident in its museums and historic sites.

There is an abundance of gorgeous arts and crafts shops where one can purchase pottery, stained glass, weaving, hot glass and even custom crockery. The Mount Sheba Nature Reserve boasts a series of outstanding walks offering spectacular scenery.
