Directions
Located in the Lower Zambezi / Chiawa Game Management Area. By air: fly internationally into Lusaka, Livingstone or Mfuwe, then Proflight scheduled or charter flight to Royal Air Strip (about ½ hour from Lusaka); from the strip a about 30-minute game-drive transfer through the Chiawa GMA to the lodge. By road: from Lusaka about 2 hours (130 km) to Chirundu on the Zambezi, then about 2–2½ hours on dirt road to the lodge (high-clearance / 4×4 only). Adventurous option: Leopard Hills road via the Zambezi Escarpment (4×4 only; convoy recommended; notify the lodge). Self-drive or road transfer from Lusaka can be arranged. By boat: meet at Gwabi, leave vehicle, boat transfer about 1h 15min to the lodge.
