From Pietermaritzburg Nyala Pans
Drive out past GHS and Southgate Mall on the R56 Richmond Road past Thornville turnoff and the R603 Umlass Road intersection/Gateway. From this intersection after 21km you will see the exit to Richmond. DO NOT EXIT HERE! Continue on the R56 for another 11km. The D59 sign is on your left and the Nkonka Lodge sign is on your right.
Turn RIGHT onto the D59 dirt road. After +/- 5km the road forks, keep RIGHT.
After another 7km, turn LEFT at the signs and through a gate; follow the road to Nyala Pans.
From Pietermaritzburg to Lafafa Lodge
Drive out of Pietermaritzburg along the R56 towards Richmond Road past Thornville turnoff and the R603 Umlass Road intersection/Gateway. From this intersection after 45,1km. Opposite land mark is Dlangala Wildlife Santuary. Turn RIGHT onto the D698 dirt road. After +/- 5km you will arrive at your destimation on the right.
From Pietermaritzburg to Kwanyamazane
Drive out of Pietermaritzburg along the R56 towards Richmond Road past Thornville turnoff and the R603 Umlass Road intersection/Gateway. From this intersection after 42,1km Turn LEFT onto the P113 Nhlamvini dirt road. After +/- 12,6km you will arrive at your destimation on your right.

Drive out of Pietermaritzburg along the R56 towards Richmond Road past Thornville turnoff and the R603 Umlass Road intersection/Gateway. From this intersection after 45,1km. Opposite land mark is Dlangala Wildlife Santuary. Turn RIGHT onto the D698 dirt road. After +/- 13,5km you will arrive at your destimation clearly sign posted follow Nkwazi signage.
