About

Ohange Lodge provides accommodation in the Otavi mountains east of Etosha. Shaded by large Marula and Tamboti trees, it overlooks the landscape. Guests can watch wildlife at the waterhole, eat home-cooked meals, and join activities including nature walks and game drives.

Accommodation

Mountain Huts contain comfortable twin beds, large en-suite shower room, and open plan WC with washbasin. Plaster-rendered walls with thatched roofs keep interiors cool during the day and warm at night. Mains electricity supplies reliable power for air conditioning.

Facilities

Restaurant patio overlooks the waterhole. Pool terrace available. Waterhole attracts local night wildlife. Campfire provided. Hosts offer experiences and knowledge of Namibia. Activities include morning nature walks, afternoon game-viewing drives, guided hikes, horse rides, and night searches.

Location & Surroundings

Ohange Lodge is in the Otavi Mountains on the tarred B1 main highway, 30 km north of Otavi and 30 km south of Tsumeb. Access involves a 3 km drive from the B1 gate, suitable for non-4x4 vehicles. Game includes Eland, Damara Dik-dik, Giraffe, Burchell's Zebra, Hartmann's Mountain Zebra, Waterbuck, Impala, Black Wildebeest, Kudu, Oryx, Cheetah.
