Located in the idyllic city of Pretoria, On-Nkwe Accommodation is a charming self-catering home that is perfect for an intimate escape for the whole family or a group of friends seeking rest and relaxation in tranquil surroundings.

This lovely house can accommodate 8 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is air-conditioned and is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and washbasin. The second and third bedrooms are each furnished with 2 single beds and make use of a shared bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and washbasin. A guest toilet fitted with a toilet and washbasin is available. Quality linen and bath towels are provided.

The living area features a lounge, a dining area and a kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, tea- and coffee-making facilities and cutlery and crockery. The kitchen also has a breakfast bar with 4 stools. The dining area is furnished with a dining table suitable for 6 guests and a built-in braai. The lounge is furnished with a double sleeper couch that can accommodate 2 children, a coffee table and a TV. Free Wi-Fi ensures that staying connected is a breeze.

The living area opens up onto a covered verandah, which features lovely views of the garden and surrounding area. Guests can enjoy a picnic in the garden or simply lounge while soaking up the sun. Access to secure parking is available.

Location & Surroundings

Tierpoort or Tiegerpoort is a beautiful suburb in Pretoria East, Gauteng which mostly consists of small holdings. Tiegerpoort is a lovely getaway in tranquil surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

On-Nkwe Accommodation is close to several wedding venues. The Rolling Waters Country Estate is just 400 m from the house, and their gate can be seen from our gate. Imperfect Perfection is just 900 m away, Foresters Venue is 2.4 km away, Shokran is 2.5 km away, Thulani is 2.1 km away, @75 Events Venue Tierpoort is 3.5 km away, and Lavendou wedding venue is 5.8 km away.

The whole family will enjoy Tiegerpoort as there are many attractions nearby such as the Sammy Marks Museum which consists of nearly all the original farm including the stables, coach-house, cowshed and wine cellar. There are also five Victorian cottages. There are guided tours and a beautiful Victorian Tea Garden where visitors can relax and have a picnic or enjoy a game of old fashioned Croquet. Another museum not far from Tiegerpoort is the Smuts House Museum which was once home to Jan Christiaan Smuts, twice president of South Africa. The Pioneer Museum in Silverton is not to be missed, it was established in 1946 and is now a beautifully refurbished farm home open to the public where visitors can experience the way of life in those days. You will be able to try your hand at candle making, coffee roasting, bread baking and wheat grinding.
