Accommodation
The lodge has 5 sleeping units named Leopard, Tambotie, Shepherds Tree, Rhino and Elephant. Units are connected via paved pathways and bridges to the communal area. The design incorporates spectacular views of the Pilanesberg Alkaline Ring Complex. Animals including Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Eland and African Wild Dog have been spotted from the lodge.
Facilities
Guests enjoy spectacular views and the chance to see animals from the lodge. Evenings include stargazing from the boma. The area has clean and clear light. Walking safaris are offered through Nare Walking Safaris, with collection and delivery to the lodge for 3 to 4 hours.
Location & Surroundings
Pilanesberg Private Lodge is within Pilanesberg National Park, covering 57 000 hectares with over 7 000 animals including the Big Five. It features the Pilanesberg Alkaline Ring Complex from an extinct volcano. Nearby are Sun City, Valley of Waves, Gary Player golf course and Lost City Golf course. Activities include hot air balloon safaris, elephant back safaris and elephant interaction.

At the first stop street turn right onto the R565 - Derdepoort Road
Travel for 29km and find the Black Rhino Reserve Gate on your right hand side.
