Directions
Located in Balule Parsons Game Reserve, GPS: 24°6.938'S, 30°51.171'E. Approximately 10km from Balule Parsons Gate, 30-40 minutes drive to the lodge. Accessible by normal sedan on gravel/sand road; slow driving recommended. Gate entry fees: R130 per person for SA/SADC citizens; R350 per person for international visitors. Payment by card or cash accepted at gate.
From OR Tambo/Johannesburg: Head toward eMalahleni via N4 or N12, continue through Belfast and Dullstroom on R540, take R36 to Strijdom tunnel, then proceed toward Hoedspruit on R527 to R40, turn left toward Phalaborwa for approximately 35km until reaching Balule Parsons Gate on the right.
From Pretoria: Head north on N1 through toll plazas to Polokwane, then R71 through Haenertsburg and Magoebaskloof to Tzaneen, continue on R71/R526 to R40 T-junction approximately 80-85km, turn left toward Phalaborwa, proceed 700m to Balule Parsons Gate on left.
Note: Disable GPS once inside the reserve gate as it provides incorrect directions.
