Reef Resort Xai-Xai offers self-catering beach house and villa accommodation on the beachfront at Praia de Xai-Xai, Mozambique, about a 3-hour drive from Maputo.

Accommodation

Nineteen self-catering beach houses and villas in 2- or 3-bedroom layouts, with ocean views and private splash pools. Units include open-plan living and dining, equipped kitchens, air-conditioned bedrooms, mosquito nets, braai areas, and decks. Named houses include Casa Panorama, Casa Estrela, and Casa Vista. Units are serviced daily.

Facilities

Private beach, swimming pools, Wi-Fi, conference room, snorkelling, whale watching, and boat tours. Café Pescador serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week with seafood from the resort’s fishing boat. Houses have DSTV, braai areas, parking, and free limited Wi-Fi.

Location & Surroundings

On the beachfront at Praia de Xai-Xai, Mozambique, about a 3-hour drive from Maputo with normal car access. A coral reef runs parallel to shore, supporting snorkelling. Houses are on or near the beach (3–5 minute walk). Fishing, whale and dolphin watching, and boat tours.
