Riemblaar Karoo Reserve offers 2 luxury holiday homes. Each home features two bedrooms ensuite with king-size beds. The second bedroom can be converted into two single beds on request, making this home type ideal for families or groups. Guests can enjoy mountain views, a cosy fireplace, a comfortable sitting area, DStv, TV and Wi-Fi for relaxation and entertainment.

The bathrooms are fitted with a separate bath and shower, bathrobes and fresh towels, providing both comfort and convenience. Each home has a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, oven, bar fridge, refrigerator, dishwasher allowing for easy self-catering.

Features an open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area that opens onto a wooden deck with the hot tub and northern mountain views. On the southern side, there is an outdoor braai area.

Check-in is from 14h00 to 19h00, and check-out is at 12h00. Cleaning service is available on request at an additional cost. Pets are not permitted.

Location & Surroundings

Riemblaar Karoo Reserve is located in the Klein Karoo, a semi-arid region characterised by open plains, rugged mountains and three biomes, Fynbos, Karoo Succulent, Renosterbos vegetation. The landscape consists of natural veld, rocky outcrops and wide valleys typical of the interior Western Cape.

Nougaspoort Road is a rural access road linking farm properties and private reserves to the R318. The R318 connects the N1 near Touwsrivier with Montagu, passing through mountain passes and agricultural valleys. The road network provides direct access to both the Cape Winelands and the Karoo interior.

Land use in the area is primarily agricultural, including livestock grazing and fruit farming in nearby valleys. Properties are generally large and sparsely distributed, contributing to low population density and minimal light pollution.

Montagu serves as the nearest main service town, providing shops, fuel stations, medical facilities and tourism services for the surrounding rural region.
