River Bend Cottages is historic accommodation in a national monument, featuring four self-catering cottages with traditional Karoo architecture in quiet, leafy Graaff-Reinet.

Accommodation

Cottages range from 1 to 5 guests, each with air-conditioned bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, and equipped kitchens or kitchenettes. Sleeper couches in lounges provide additional sleeping space. Contemporary units within the heritage building feature thick walls, shady verandas, and wooden shutters.

Facilities

All cottages feature private braai patio areas and off-street parking. Fully-equipped kitchens or kitchenettes support self-catering. Some cottages offer trailer bay access with direct entry. The Old House includes garden braai and outdoor seating areas.

Location & Surroundings

Graaff-Reinet is the 4th oldest South African town, known as the 'Gem of the Karoo', with 220 heritage sites and tree-lined streets for walking. Restaurants and shops are 10-20 minutes' walk or 3 minutes' drive away.
