Accommodation
Camping, caravanning and self-catering options include 2-sleeper chalets, stone cottages, 4- to 8-sleeper chalets and a Waterfront House for up to 10. Private camp sites may have ablutions and mini kitchens. Units are fully air-conditioned; some are wheelchair-friendly.
Facilities
Facilities include a swimming pool, dam beach and boat launch ramp. Reception stocks a few supplies and ice lollies. Activities cover dam water sports, fishing, swimming, hiking, bird watching, star gazing, cycling, 4×4 routes and rock climbing. Pet-friendly by prior arrangement for a fee.
Location & Surroundings
On the banks of Bulshoek Dam near Clanwilliam on the West Coast, about 240 km from Cape Town on the N7. Continue 22 km after Clanwilliam; entrance east of the N7 via 500 m of dirt road. Base for the Cederberg and Namaqualand flower safaris.
