Rosedene Guest House is owner-run accommodation in a converted late-1800s farmhouse in Higgovale, on the outer edge of Cape Town’s City Bowl below Table Mountain.

Eleven deluxe en-suite rooms: ten in the Main House plus a detached suite overlooking the plunge pool. Rooms configure as double or twin, with views of Table Mountain, Lion’s Head or the gardens. Heritage Cottages offer two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, fully fitted kitchen and veranda.

Facilities include a plunge pool, courtyard, glass veranda, rooftop terrace, lounge and breakfast room. Daily breakfast is included 07:30–09:30, with full English and continental options. Rooms have fibre Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, mini bar, safe, kettle and TV. Complimentary local wine 18:00–19:00.

In Higgovale at the quiet end of Kloof Street, minutes from restaurants and cafés. Bacini’s Italian is about 2 minutes away. Hop-on hop-off bus stop on Long Street nearby. Close to Signal Hill and Table Mountain hikes. V&A Waterfront about 10 minutes by cab.
