About 45–60 minutes from Johannesburg; about one hour from Pretoria. Tarentaal, Kiewiet and Hoephoep: car access to cottage. Hill cottages: 4×4/high-clearance or park at shade-net parking at foot of hill and walk 100–500 m uphill; staff help with luggage (tip R20 each way).
